Activity Description
Today, we welcomed Kati Shadden to Colégio Londrinense! Kati is an American and a Christian who joined our 9th grade students for a special conversation class.
She shared cultural insights, answered the students’ questions, and also asked some of her own!
It was a meaningful opportunity for our students to put into practice everything they’ve been learning in our bilingual program.
Different Countries
Os alunos do Ensino Fundamental I compartilharam o aprendizado sobre diferentes países na Londrinense International Week, em uma efetiva troca cultural e prática da língua inglesa.
Eles apresentaram as curiosidades sobre pontos turísticos, arquitetura e arte do País de Gales (1º ano), da Austrália (2º ano), da Escócia (3º ano), do Canadá (4º ano) e dos Estados Unidos (5º ano).
Activity Description
Today was the day for our Elementary students to shine during the Londrinense International Week!
They shared what they learned about different countries, exploring topics such as tourist attractions, culture, architecture, art, and much more - 1st grade presented about Wales, 2nd grade explored Australia, 3rd grade talked about Scotland, 4th grade dove into Canada and 5th grade brought information about the United States.
Our students impressed everyone with their creativity, confidence, and especially their use of English in each presentation.
An enriching experience of learning and cultural exchange!
Worship
Os alunos da Educação Infantil ao Ensino Médio participaram do 2st Londrinense Bilingual Worship no Teatro Colégio Londrinense nos dias 29 e 30 de maio.
As celebrações de louvor e de gratidão a Deus do culto bilíngue integraram a programação da Londrinense International Week.
Cultural Exchange
Os alunos do Ensino Fundamental II praticaram a língua inglesa com as apresentações da Londrinense International Week.
Das borboletas da Nigéria ao Grande Prêmio de Fórmula 1 em Singapura, as trocas culturais abordaram a Nigéria (6º ano), Gana (7º ano), a Índia (8º ano) e Singapura (9º ano).
Activity Description
Today, our middle school students presented what they studied for the Londrinense International Week!
The 6th grade talked about Nigeria, the 7th grade explored Ghana, the 8th grade focused on India, and the 9th grade brought insights about Singapore.
It was an incredible opportunity for our students to practice English through meaningful content and cultural exchange.
From butterflies in Nigeria to the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Singapore — the presentations were full of curiosity, creativity, and learning!
South Africa
Os alunos do Pré II exploraram a bandeira, os animais e as diversões típicas da África do Sul no primeiro dia da Londrinense International Week.
Eles também foram pequenos professores ao ensinar o jogo African Hopscotch aos colegas do 1º ao 5º ano. A atividade promoveu a troca cultural, a interação entre as turmas e a prática da língua inglesa.
Activity Description
Londrinense International Week has officially begun!
Pré 2 students explored the culture of South Africa. They learned about the country’s flag, animals, and traditional games.
As a highlight, they became little teachers and showed 1st and 5th graders how to play African Hopscotch!
It was a beautiful moment of cultural sharing, collaboration between classes, and lots of English practice in action.
The World of English
O Colégio Londrinense e o Anglo Londrinense promovem a 6ª edição do Londrinense International Week, de 26 a 30 de maio, com o tema “The World of English”.
Os alunos da Educação Infantil ao Ensino Médio realizam diferentes apresentações, compartilham informações com outras séries e participam de culto bilíngue no Teatro Colégio Londrinense.
O evento tem o objetivo de expandir os horizontes linguísticos e culturais dos estudantes e ratificar o trabalho de excelência do Programa Bilíngue, desenvolvido em parceria com a Oxford University Press desde 2017.
